LANKERSHIM
HOUSE

Our creative juices were really flowing on the Lankershim Project. It was pretty much a complete facelift on the front, back and side of the house.

The challenge was to keep the beautiful 1920's Tudor Style look of the house while at the same time bringing it up to date.

To help you envision what we did we included before and after photos.

The newly poured driveway was softened with brick liners and grass. Walking up the graceful steps to the front entrance you will be surrounded by a lush shaded garden filled with papyruses, red grasses, and azaleas.

In keeping with the English Garden theme of the home we utilized wall mounted plantings, overflowing potted plants and flowering bushes such as sage over the back hillside.

This lovely retreat can be accessed from the dining room through newly installed French doors.

A special bonus was the added side yard getaway we created by leveling the hillside and then laying a brick patio with a herringbone pattern. It can be enjoyed through the new French doors from the master bedroom. A privacy gate allowing you to travel the many lush gardens found on the property was installed.
