NASHVILLE

HOUSE

We were very excited to sink our teeth into the Nashville Project. Turning a bland 1950's track home into a contemporary architectural statement was an exciting challenge! The bones were there but never used to their full potential. We couldn't wait to splash some bold colors onto the individual elements. This gave height and shape to an otherwise boring facade.

We glorified the front entrance by creating an inviting walkway made out of cement slabs surrounded by large black river rocks and lush directional plantings.

We introduced a beautiful outdoor courtyard with the tall horizontal redwood fencing, a lovely retreat off of the living room.

We designed a grand indoor outdoor entertainment area in the back yard accessed by two new sets of sliding doors. The beautiful overhead patio structure was designed to offer a shady place to retire in the afternoon. Note how we used the same structural elements from the front fence on the vertical columns to add a little pizzazz.
